Patient access
Make it easier for patients to get to care.
A referral has to convert, a call has to be answered, and a slot has to be found. Patients can drop off at every step. We improve the workflows that connect referral, scheduling, and access.
Too many patients never make it from referral to visit.
Getting a patient to care depends on a chain of small steps. A referral has to be captured and converted. A call has to be answered, or a slot found online. Intake has to be completed. A reminder has to reach the patient. These steps often span separate systems and manual workflows, creating multiple points where patients can drop off.
The impact shows up in longer waits, lost referrals, no-shows, and more administrative work for scheduling teams. Patients may seek care elsewhere before an appointment is made, while staff spend time chasing information and moving work between systems. The problem is rarely a single broken process; it is the accumulation of gaps between referral and visit.
Patient access is an end-to-end operation.
We work across referral intake, scheduling, registration, reminders, and the workflows that connect them. The goal is to make the journey easier for patients and give access teams better visibility from referral through visit.
Connecting these steps gives access teams visibility across the journey and reduces the points where patients drop off.
Where we work across patient access
We work across the access journey, from referral intake and scheduling through preparation, outreach, and performance visibility.
Digital scheduling and self-service
Give patients digital options to find and book the right appointment, while reducing routine scheduling calls for access teams.
Access support and routing
Use AI assistants for routine access questions and scheduling, with escalation to staff when judgment or intervention is needed.
Digital intake and visit preparation
Complete intake and preparation ahead of the visit, so paperwork is done before arrival and the encounter starts on time.
Reminders, outreach, and appointment recovery
Keep booked appointments from becoming no-shows, and fill openings when they occur, through timely reminders and outreach.
Access performance and visibility
Bring referral, scheduling, intake, and appointment data together to identify where patients are dropping off and where access performance can improve.
719,076 appointments scheduled and tracked in twelve months.
At one of the largest U.S. health systems, referrals arrived by fax across a highly distributed operation. We captured and converted them across 75+ facilities and tracked each referral through to a scheduled visit.
Figures are the customer’s own, for the twelve months to July 2026.
